Fire Retardant Treated Wood Used in a Church Roofing System

This church was originally established in 1909 and has held two different locations.  The main building was constructed in 1948 where the membership has grown to 500 people.

In 2003, a new building was constructed, and PYRO-GUARD® was used for roof sheathing.  This new building contains a state-of-the-art kitchen, Sunday school classrooms, youth room and gathering hall.  The final building cost for the finished structure was $730,100.  The end result of the construction is a beautiful, safe and functional building that saves the church $1,174 a year in insurance costs.
