2025 in Review: Building, Growing and Protecting What Matters Most

2025 was a big year for Hoover Treated Wood Products. From celebrating 70 years in business to investing in new equipment, expanding our reach, and showing up for our customers and communities, we packed the year with moments worth celebrating.

Along the way, we:

  • Attended 22 trade shows and conferences and spoke at 4 of them
  • Celebrated 34 employee milestone anniversaries
  • Launched 12 educational videos

And we’re not slowing down any time soon.

Before we launch into the new year, here’s a look at some of our favorite highlights from 2025.

Workforce Solutions for the Heart of Texas recognized Hoover with the 2024 Employer of Excellence award for Freestone County, honoring our commitment to creating jobs and opportunities in the local community.

New state-of-the-art equipment at our Milford, Winston and Bakersfield plants helped us raise the bar for innovation in fire-retardant-treated wood, delivering even greater quality and performance for our customers.

New automated Precision End Trim (PET) saw at our Milford Facility.
New stick accumulator at our Winston facility.
Bakersfield installs a new state of the art incisor.

At our annual leadership awards, we proudly recognized eight standout employees for their commitment to safety, leadership and living our core values.

In February, we supplied FRTW for a special project on one of the biggest stages in national sports. Can you guess which one?

We launched two new interactive learning modules to help dealers and distributors better communicate the benefits of Hoover’s fire-retardant-treated wood. Learn more in our modules, Fire-Retardant-Treated Wood in the IWUI Code and Learn the Hoover Advantage.

We proudly launched our YouTube channel this year, sharing quick tips and insights from our industry experts to help you build with FRTW with confidence. Check it out here.

After more than 60 years in Thomson, Georgia, we proudly began the next chapter by moving our HQ to Augusta. The new space features collaborative meeting areas, upgraded technology, and plenty of Hoover Dragons.

We acquired Arconic Architectural Products, marking our official entry into the exterior aluminum cladding market and a brand-new product division. See more about our exciting new division at HooverAS.com.

We celebrated 70 years of protecting people where they live, work, learn and play. What began 70 years ago at a small plant in Dearing, Georgia, has grown into a nationwide operation with hundreds of employees, data-driven insights, and a portfolio supporting some of the country’s most important buildings.

Sweden based Woodsafe®, was recognized as a licensed European processor of our proprietary ExteriorFireX™ formulation marketing under the Woodsafe FireX  (WFX™) brand.  This partnership marks an important milestone in exterior fire protection by expanding our highest safety and performance standards into new countries.

Looking ahead, our focus stays the same: serve each other, serve our customers, and get it done right as we continue protecting what matters most.

See you in 2026!
